CatholicTV Begins New Season of Programming

WATERTOWN, MA (September 8, 2011) - The CatholicTV Network’s family-friendly, faith-filled programming featuring Catholics from around the world and around the corner begins a new season this month. Beginning September 5, the station’s 24-hour lineup premieres new shows for several returning series and introduces new CatholicTV original series as well as new programming from the universal church’s television providers.

The station’s longest-running series (besides "Daily Mass" and "The Rosary") is Father Dan O’Connell’s "We’ve Got To Talk", featuring inspiring talks based on finding the holy in everyday life and will air all new shows this season. A different guest priest joins Father Chris Hickey and Father Paul Rouse every week on "Going My Way" for a comedic interview followed by musical performances featuring oldies and spiritual songs. Father Chip Hines and Father Bill Kelly return for a new season of “Spotlight” a program of movie reviews.

Tuesdays and Fridays at 10:30 a.m., CatholicTV’s live talk show "This Is the Day" welcomes prominent Catholics into the CatholicTV living room for interviews about Catholic life. The series is hosted by Father Robert Reed and Jay Fadden with Kevin Nelson providing news and events and rebroadcasts air all week.
